Heterogeneous In-Band Full-Duplex System for Simultaneous SUN-FSK Transmission and SUN-OFDM Reception

This study proposes a heterogeneous in-band full-duplex system for the simultaneous transmission of existing wireless smart ubiquitous network (Wi-SUN) using IEEE 802.15.4g-compliant frequency-shift keying utility (SUN-FSK) and reception next-generation Wi-SUN 802.15.4-2020-compliant orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing SUN (SUN-OFDM). In particular, we propose digital self-interference (SI) cancellation scheme based on high-precision SI channel estimation moving average method, which can be used when signal is SUN-FSK desired SUN-OFDM signal. Furthermore, highly efficient demodulation technique that considers effect residual SI. We evaluate proposed methods through computer simulations. The achieve 67 dB in domain power ratio 50 dB. results this enable more coexistence Wi-SUNs, expected to improve throughput responsiveness systems employing SUN-OFDM.
